Novato Theater continues to add talent to its Board
Novato Theater is delighted to welcome Claire Knoles to its board. Claire is the founder and Chief Operating Officer of Kiosk, a successful International marketing agency now based in Novato, with a client-base that’s included Disney, Harvard University, Royal Bank of Canada, PlayStation, and Amnesty International.
Keith Greggor, Board President, stated “Claire’s strategic vision and extensive experience in marketing and business management make her a valuable resource for Novato Theater. Also she has great local knowledge and has been active in the community for quite some time. Her company Kiosk provides pro bono resources to a number of local community groups. She is a community asset.”
Situated on Grant Avenue in Downtown Novato, Kiosk has been awarded ‘Best Place to Work’ by the NBBJ for six consecutive years. Originally founded in Liverpool, England, Kiosk campaigned to open FACT – a four-screen arthouse cinema in the heart of Liverpool, which was a catalyst for the city’s downtown revitalization. Claire is a great believer in the potential of downtown Novato and will bring that experience to bear.
Claire is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and studied at Liverpool Hope University and Ashridge School of Management. Locally, Claire became Adviser to the Board of Trustees of Hennessy Funds Trust in 2015. Claire lives in Novato with her husband, Matt, and dog, buddy.
Following Novato Theater’s Board emphasis of recruiting functional expertise Claire will further develop the theater’s marketing, promotional and communications strategies.
Keith Greggor added, “Claire is a big believer in our proposal to the Novato City Council to open the theater. We are thrilled to have her skills and high energy to help us win the day and bring new excitement to downtown.”
